Long Island, NY (Zone 7a)
I have a wooded area on my property, I was curious if I planted cucumbers at the base of trees if they would naturally grow up them?

See you in the funny papers!
add string or thin stakes to start them...? tendrils need to get a grip.
Not sure how they'd like the shade.
Plant it and they will come.
