I just saw this vine today in a nature preserve in San Marcos, Texas. I can't identify it, though it seems familiar. Can anyone help?

Thanks for the reply. I'm just not sure about the leaves--the ones I saw today seemed more substantial than the leaves of the bitter melon. I might have to watch it to see if it flowers. The bitter melon sounds like a fascinating plant, though!
