Could someone tell me what's wrong with this plant if anything's wrong I have things growing between the leaves I don't know name of the plant or if that's normal any help would be appreciative

looks like some kind of orchid...the things by its leaves are aerial roots ..and completely normal

There is nothing wrong with it! It is a Phalaenopsis orchid. Those things are roots. They are out in the open air because that is the way that the grow.
There are sympodial orchids such as Cattleyas and monopodial orchids like a Phalaenopsis. Monopodial orchids grow in one direction, always growing upwards.

They are technically aerial roots and they are fine. Some roots of a healthy Phalaenopsis grow in the pot, some outside of the pot. It is natural for a Phalaenopsis.
They typically bloom from January through April.
They should be repotted every year, 2 at the most.
They need NO direct sun, just a bright spot.
They like a temperature range of 60 and 85 degrees.
