Thread OP

i recently bought a cabin in the Colorado mountains (elevation 9300 feet). The cabin had been empty for three years and i'm now trying to clean up the landscaping and extend it a bit. Thought it would be the right idea to continue to replicate the existing flowers/plants given the location and elevation. I've got all other flowers/plants matched out (walkers low, artemesia, johnsons blue geraniums, etc.) but am stumped with the single rose. it's certainly hardy having lasted many years here even untended and i was thinking it might be a white prairie rose, white rugosa or darlows enigma but the right choice eludes me.

Hoping that someone here could point me in the right direction so i can add a twin to her here at the cabin. thank you. #stayhealthy

It's a little difficult to see the blooms in your photos, but they don't look single to me. They've got more than 5 petals, if I'm not mistaken.

If so, might this be R. rugosa alba plena?

If I'm wrong, and it really is single, might it be R. rogosa alba?

Yours looks like Lyda Rose, David.

The foliage on your rose is completely different from ranflyer's foliage.

FWIW,
I agree with Jeri.
It looks like rugosa leaves.
