best growing conditions for lobelias

Which type of Lobelia? Different types have different needs.

Started the following species from seed indoors:

cardinalis (have several that germinated and are healthy seedlings.

Erinus

siphilitica

Tupa

Noticed the cardinalis grow wild by streams in this neighborhood.

siphilitica have flourished in large pots indoors. Likewise Erinus.

Not sure where and when to transplant for permanent home. Any advice welcome.
