Can't upload photos using Chrome (version 83) in the Site Talk forum

Another thread on this topic is closed, but I'm experiencing the same problem. I can't upload photos to posts, or to plant pages. It would go through the process of uploading, but nothing appears. I can upload on my Android phone, but prefer to do it using a computer, as phone screens are tiny and lead to errors. Could anyone advise me?

Try restarting your browser, Tienito.

If that doesn't work, then that probably means it's something @dave will have to fix.

I've tried restarting the browser, and even restarting the computer, but the problem persists. This has been happening for a few weeks actually. I don't know if it can be fixed.

A few weeks back there were issues with this and the problem seemed to have been fixed. Are you running the latest version of Chrome? There was a bugfix for version 83 that came out a couple of days ago (latest versions are listed here by platform):

I have a MacBook Pro with Chrome version 83.0.4103.116 but I most often use Firefox to access garden.org. I'll log on with Chrome and see if I have any trouble uploading pictures.

Ok, I'm now logged on with chrome, I'll try to upload a random photo. hmm, while the photo was uploading, a little gray box appeared on screen that said "no file chosen" but it did upload my picture.
