This older cultivar has been in my garden since I started the garden over 25 years ago. It has been reliably hardy, it always blooms, and is not bothered by late springs or hard winters. It is a lovely, silvery pink in my garden. I have it blooming with a Shasta daisies and several other pink daylilies, for a pretty mid-summer picture.

I bought a potted plant a few weeks ago and it was the first Daylily blooming in my garden. The color is very delicate glowing pink, I don't think I ever seen this hue on any other plant.

I had Catherine Woodbery 8+/- yrs when I lived on the TX Gulf coast and it did ok so it is suited to a wide range of climate. It did not travel with me when I moved out of hurricane country.
Edit:
Found one Apr 2022 while hosta hunting so, of course, I had to get it.🤭

I have had CW since 2015. It has taken awhile to really get established, at no fault of its' own. She got moved twice due to a home siding project, but has been in her permanent home now for 2 years.

She has consistently bloomed the middle of July in my 5b garden. She is on track for the same this year as I have 2 scapes as of June 22. Height and size of bloom are as registered. The plant habit is nice.

Overall, she isn't my most favorite plant. There are so many out there that are more vibrant and showy. But she does look awesome when covered with dew and raindrops

CW was the first daylily I ever bought. (dry in a bag from Whiterose, that is going way back) Lovely pale pink almost silver bloom. I still have it and it still blooms even in the neglected area of my garden. Every year I stop and look at it saying I really must move that......and she still sits in the same spot. Nothing seems to bother her. Drought, flooding, even the weeds. A tough one for sure.

I had CW and have to say that it took quite awhile to bloom. It was in a good spot but it wasn't until I redid the bed (dug up an invasive vine and added a ton of compost) that it started to bloom. It bloomed midseason for me which was disappointing because I wanted later blooms. I liked the flowers but they clashed with the other plants in the bed. I ended up giving it away because I didn't have any place else to move it.

It has been a number of years since I owned CW and I had similar experience to Elena in that it was not late blooming and never produced many blooms for me.

Have had CW for a long time. It's still in it's original spot since the day I got it. It is one of those DL's (as you can see from other comments) that can have its beauty overlooked. I think a perfect spot for CW would be at the edge of a shady spot where it still gets enough sun to bloom but would "pop" with a shady background.

CW has been in my garden for 10 years now but has been divided only once--not a fast increaser. It is not a late bloomer here either blooming late July so mid season. Bud count is not very good at 7 buds on three way branching but does reach 28 inches. I have considered removing it but have yet to get around to it. I would not miss it if it were gone. I guess I also find others better colors these 10 years later.

Maine zone 5a, I have had CW for 6-7 years, it does not seem to be a very fast increaser, but it is a very lovely shade of pink. A garden classic.

I've had CW probably most of the time I've been collecting Daylilies ( about 25 years). She is always sweet, well behaved, stays where you put her. A very nice landscaping plant for part shade. Not exactly spectacular but sweet and unassuming.

2023 update…bloomed from July 11-20. I only caught 5 flowers on camera. I think this flower is being squeezed out by its' neighbors.
