Very pretty blooms but I get a very short bloom time from EG. It pumps out all of its blooms really fast in the early season.

Emerald Glow is a wonderful plant that increased quickly and bloomed very consistently year after year for me. It grew the registered height for me, at least on the tallest scapes, although I never got registered bloom count. It's an interesting color, as you can see in the pictures. It has a lot of looks depending on the conditions, I guess. Some days it's more pink. Others it seems like there's a hint of orange mixed in. But you could usually count on that green throat catching your eye more than anything. Some days it seemed to glow.

I could have sworn I made seedlings from it, but I'm not finding records of them, so I guess I can't verify how it was as a parent. Eventually, a friend of mine saw it and last fall I conceded it over to her.
