Can anyone identify what this is? At first, I thought it was a leaf, but it is not. It is some sort of caterpillar, I think. I nudged him, but he does not seem to want to move. I would love to know what he is so I can figure out what to do or not do about him.

I have no idea what it was. I nudged it a little with a twig to make sure it was not just a leaf or something. It was not a leaf. Gone now. I have no idea what happened to it.
