I hope all goes well for you at the Mayo Clinic and I will be keeping you in my thoughts and sending good wishes your way.
PS: Don't worry about the asters getting munched by deer. You'll have more blooms in the fall if the tips were snacked off.

Yes, the aster already had new growth where an old tip was munched. I love using native perennials so much!
So far, so good; both COVID tests are negative, but the procedures start tomorrow.
