This beauty did not survive for me in zone 6 central Missouri
It never increased and dwindled away completely within three years of planting it. It bloomed two seasons on very short scapes with a limited number of blooms. Blooms looked pretty and I used the pollen to hybridize a little (don't remember how effective the pollen was though). Performed poorly enough that I decided not to give it a second try.

This one does have beautiful blooms for sure. It has been a reliable bloomer for me and has done just fine in my area (7b). Moderate increase, not a real large growing plant and the scapes do not reach the registered height of 28" (more like 22" here) but it does hold it's blooms above the foliage. My clump sent up 5 scapes this year with 3 way branching. So all in all, it has performed well enough here to stay especially considering I don't have it in the most ideal spot. A young tree nearby has gotten larger now and I believe it's getting too much shade. I may move this one to a new spot. It is fertile both ways and I have set 2 pods on it this year. Pollen has worked just fine also. Seedlings I have out of it are 2020 seedlings, so it won't be until at least next year before I see the results. I did cross it with a larger more robust growing variety.
