Here are two more photos of Winning Lady. She has a gentle, subtle beauty - a lovely old fashioned soul - nothing complicated. I like to keep her around for her very subtle charm. She doesn't have too many blooms, but she's special, as one of my first Daylilies in 1995. I almost lost her in my move in 2012, but she is a survivor.

Winsome Lady is indeed a survivor. She has been here almost 25 years now, in the same (now not so good D'Oh! ) location, and every year at the end of July, surprises me with flawless blooms. A simple but elegant flower that I sadly don't photograph anymore but here are some older pics.

Winsome Lady is dainty and charming. I love her lily-like simplicity, shell-pink coloring and wiry scapes. Thumb of 2023-12-08/Hembrain/0210f4
I've had her for about eight years. She seems to shine a couple of years after planting/replanting. I notice wonderful branching, and decent budcount when she feels like it. Here she is mid-June against my dark clipboard (but her color is lighter than this picture would indicate):

She is pod and pollen fertile, and looks especially good in the rain!
