I am in the Maryland/dc area in a new house and I noticed this plant growing in my garden. At first I thought it was like weed and almost pulled it out but I noticed it was a bit furry and it didn't have a reddish stem like the other pokeweed in my yard. The previous owner had a vegetable garden in the same spot so I'm thinking this could either be a weed or a bonus vegetable plant for my garden.
