Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Butter Pecan')

Brand new plant to me last fall. It is growing nicely and sent up 2 scapes. It started blooming for me this week and looks great. Will have to give it more time to adequately report on it.

A favorite of mine. Unique coloration, good growth, good height. I think it shows best if it has some partial shade during the day.

I purchased this plant in 2008. I have it planted in partial shade so I really should move it. It is still only a small clump of 4 maybe 5 fans. It is fertile, I have several pods on it now.

It is a lovely color and unique so I will continue to grow it.

I Had Butter Pecan in my garden for a number of years gave it a good chance, it never did much and finally dwindled away.
