Sequim? Holy cow, I seriously was just thinking about Sequim today when someone here said that lavender doesn't grow anywhere else as well as it does here in France. Then I came to me senses and admitted that my lousy french wouldn't be up to explaining 'Sequim' and that its lavender grows quite well despite significant more rainfall and heavier soil. So, I decided to preserve my vocabulary for more important things; ordering another glass of pink wine.
And I'd probably have to explain why dungeness crabs are better while I was at it...
