This was my third spring with Don. I asked Oakes for him as my free plant and they obliged with three fans. He bloomed some that first year and has bloomed nicely every year since. He has only put out one increase, but is in a crowded bed. This morning I moved two plants from around him so, hopefully, he'll increase more. I do like the yellow ones. Add an eye and I'm even happier. In my garden he pretty much grows and blooms as registered. A big clear yellow flower with a dark red...almost rust....eye.
