Pic 1 & 2: Recently I've noticed small yellow bumps or spots on the leaves of this pothos (reverted marble queen), is this more likely a lighting issue or do I have some sort of pest causing chlorosis? I don't see anything mite or parasite like on the leaves. In the last month have been treated with some diluted neem oil & horticultural pest oils.
Pic 3, 4 & 5: I have two different Spathiphyllum, with the very tips of the leaves turning yellow/brown on one, but more concerning is the larger brown spots on the lighting one, and the crinkled new growth. They are both out of direct sunlight, indirect light removed about 12ft from a North facing window (Southern Hemisphere, Australia). I know they are sensitive to hard water & minerals so have bought a Britta water filter for their watering, but I still do some bottom or base soaking in order to keep the soil moist... No strange additives or fertilizers...
I have had this same issue with my pothos plants. The black/brown spots and deformed leaves comes from overwatering the plant. I believe it's a disease or a bacteria. I did a few experiments with the plants I had. I tried removing all the bad leaves, that didn't work. I even tried to completely cut the entire plant off so it would grow a new vine. At the beginning it was promising, but the leaves eventually got black again. Once infected, it seems there is no going back. Unfortunately I threw them away. Most importantly, do not put infected plants near others!!!
