The plant has stopped growing new growth and the flowers have dried up rather than turn in to lovely new fruits. Several leaves are drying up and most have turned a dark purple color. I was treating every 2 weeks w/ neem oil for aphids, but haven't sprayed in a while since I haven't seen any new critters. The fruit on the plant seems to be doing well. I water the plant regularly and it gets plenty of morning/afternoon sun. What could be wrong?

Too much Neem oil. Plus did you spray with the sun on the plant? The oil will burn the leaves. You have to spray early in the morning.

In a half gallon pump sprayer I fill it with water, add two drops of dish soap and then 1/2 tsp. Of Neem. But you must spray the plant completely. Up, down, over and under. If you don't, the buggettes can come back very quickly.

Thank you for your reply. With continued TLC and a change of location, she is doing fine now and lots of healthy new growth as well as fruits
