Hey all! We purchased a Majesty palm about a month ago. For the past 2 days i noticed these red insects on only 1 leaf! They dont appear to harm her, but i cannot identify them. I noticed that at times they migrate to the underside of the leaf, but most times they stay on both sides. I'd like to learn more about this creature and what relation it has to this plant. Your insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I think they are Red Aphids

I tend to just squish aphids with my fingers. you can use insecticidal soap or some people recommend spraying them off with a hose or squirt bottle.
