How am I going to get any yard work done now you have exposed me to "the middle sized garden".

Really interesting to watch, makes me homesick and I can't grow any of those plants where I live.

By the way your blogs are always entertaining but not enough photos. Thumbs up

mea culpa, mea maxima culpa...

And where have you been?? Pandemic, Hurricanes, volcanoes...not a word from you. We begin to wonder if you've gone to join the choirs invisible if you don't at least check in once a week.

And as for whinging on about "I can't grow any of those plants..." Do you have ANY IDEA how we in PA eat out our hearts looking at that PARADISE of a garden you have??? Why do you think I have a small banana tree in a washtub sitting in my backyard..."Look, it's sorta like Mike's garden...if you squint a bit..."??

Ah heck, we love ya anyways! nodding nodding nodding nodding

Sometimes is nice to imagine having a garden where the seasons force you stay in doors and take a break and plants slow down their growth and rest for a while.
All gardens are beautiful but here it is hectic year round.
I will try and update my blog more often.

I honestly don't think I could manage a year round garden like yours. By the time October rolls around and the frost comes, I'm more than ready to call it a season. I'm still busy right through til about January/February, but it's not the intensity of the main season. I'm glad for the rest.
