Bit of background. I got these two Monstera from Home Depot back around May. They were the last two and I could see why. ALL the leaves were droopy. Even the new leaf coming in on one was droopy though the plant looked healthy. I figured they just needed some sun.

I wasn't planning to put them in new pots but they were beyond pot bound. More roots than soil basically. On top of that, they were in nursery pots that were inside of ceramic pots with no drainage holes. I put them in slightly larger pots.

It has taken months for them to grow new leaves. One has grown two, the other has one and a new one is on the way. I've never seen Monstera grow so slowly. New growth on both plants look they way you'd expect them too. No drooping. But the older leaves are still droopy. No pests that I've noticed and they get plenty of bright, indirect sunlight. What could be causing this?
