Any picture of an open flower from the front? Is it white with burgundy eye or have pale pink swirls on petals? How tall is the plant & dimension of flower please? All that would help identify it better. I did notice the pinkish stems which is common on a few hardy hibiscus & will help id it. Thumbs up

I forgot to mention, if you are not getting mature seeds in pods you can always take cuttings that usually root easily in water. Just trim green new growth 6" to 8" tips & take off any leaves. In about a month you should find that some are putting out roots. When there's about five 1" roots on the end in water they are ready to plant in soil. Keep moist in a bright spot but not hot sunlight another month & you should have a keeper perennial hardy hibiscus that will return from root stock each year. I tip my hat to you.
