Have questions about the seeds someone else is offering? Here is the place to discuss it! Or maybe you just wanted to comment on or post example pictures of some seeds that have been listed? You can do that here, too! (Note, if you want to post a picture for one of your own listings, the best place to do that is in the listing so that people see it as they are bidding, but it never hurts to generate some pre-interest here, as well!)

This is not the place to post your seed wishlist.

You can post them here, but the thread that is set up and designed for your wishlists is the "WISH LIST FOR SEEDS" thread. That is where people will go to get an idea for which seeds are desired, so anything posted here might get buried, might not be seen by the 'right' person (who has your desired seeds), or might not be seen in a timely manner.

I need a tomato that can take 90 degree humid weather. Every tomato I have tried to grow will grow big and tall but will not set fruit. This Seed Swap has 11 pages of tomato seeds! Are any of the varieties listed suitable for Florida? We grew up in Indiana and love homegrown tomatoes!

@Nanctom I live in N. Alabama and the Blue Beauty tomato did well for me (and I even grew it in a container) during the summer though it is prone to some cracking, and Cherokee Purple tomatoes are very popular around here. Early Girls are also popular here. I know it's not Florida, but we get pretty toasty and muggy up here lol. I'm going to be trying a lot more varieties this year though!

Thank you phakewishard and gngrbluiz for the suggestions. I checked out the websites and tomato varieties mentioned. I tried Cherokee Purple and it was the most beautiful tomato plant ever- but the flowers all dropped Sad I did okay with a Husky Cherry so I think I'll stick to the cherry tomato varieties. I'm going to try to get SameOldBrandNew 'Sungold", Beepboop 'TinyTim' and Aprilard1 'TommyToe' in the Seed Swap. Smiling

Anyone want this keychain? I like it but I just have no use for it. Someone in a Facebook group sent it to me as a gift & I don't remember who it was or which group.

@Killbill3x you have a pepper listed: Hot Chili Pepper (Capsicum sinense '7 Pot Brain Strain x Carolina Reaper')
Is this a cross you made yourself? I'm intrigued by the idea of crossing varieties to make a new variety so I'm curious as to how these taste.

I've traded with so many people I can't recall where I got the original seeds from. I will tell you this about that pepper; its ridiculously hot and one of my most prolific producers this year. I haven't gotten a good idea of what its tastes like because its way too spicey but it smells amazing sweet.

I did however list a cross I made called the Purple Popper which is a cross between the fish pepper and Pretty in Purple. Those are perfect for snacking and bring about the same heat as a Jalapeno type pepper. Very good producers.

That's on my wishlist & you talked me into it lol. I can't do super spicy (married a guy with stomach issues & hates mexican food so I stopped making spicy stuff) so jalapeno type sounds good to me.

Maybe I missed it, but was anyone offering any kind of mint? (Spearmint, apple mint, julep mint, etc.)

I didn't see any

Thank you. Has it already been cold stratified?

I bought mint plants from a woman on Facebook. I think it was orange, chocolate, lemon or banana, & strawberry. All but one arrived dried out. I potted them up anyway & hope they'll come back next year.

No it has not. It will need to be done. It has been stored in a cool space but not to a stratification standard.

I went thru my herbs, medicinals and grains to pull out anything I had extra. I just added the following:

Broad Leaf Sage
Wild Carrot
Blue Borage
Sonoran Wheat
Pyrethrum
Einkorn Wheat
Chia
Mouse Ear Hawkweed
Italian Flat Leaf Parsley
Rosemary
Heimia

Hammer, I don't believe spearmint needs cold treatment. It should be sown indoors before last frost date and planted out after all chance of frost.

I ❤️ tomatoes!! Smiling
