I've had this crested sunburst aeonium for less than a year and it has grown a lot. Does it needs to be repotted? Or perhaps should I cut it at the point where it juts out and root the cut piece for a second plant? Any advice is most appreciated.

I agree! I'd leave it how it is. It looks happy. Smiling

You can leave it be, or if it really gets annoying to your eyes, delay the prune till it is mid Fall.
I find my Aeoniums just starting to wake up now from summer slumber, and soon they will be livelier in mid to late Fall.

Beautiful plant. Don't cut it.
You have a great specimen plant.
You might consider potting it up in preparation
for the winter growth that is coming.
