Thread OP

I bought this from a nursery a few days ago and it was looking sad. Some of the leaves are pinched closed. Too much sun? Not enough water??

It looks thirsty. Was the soil dry when you took it home? As long as the roots are okay, I would water. It might take a week or so to recover from its mistreatment. I'm amazed you found anything at a big box store. I haven't found a single hoya in months except a "Princess" at Walmart and I scour the stores every. Maybe you could take a decent piece and root it in case the mother doesn't recover.

You need to water it thoroughly. That's why leaves looks like that.

You don't mention where you live but I wonder if the issue with your Wax Plant (Hoya wayetii) could be temperature related ... going from a warm, humid green-house at the nursery, to a cooler, dryer home condition? Shrug!
