Just saw this vine that has milkweed-like flowers on it and fat pods a couple of days ago in Three Springs, Texas, south of San Antonio. Does anyone know what kind of plant this is? Thank you in advance.

Looks like the heartleaf milkweed. Asclepias cordifolia. The blooms are different in color. The Asclepias cordifolia I know has purple flowers.

I believe A. cordifolia has purple flowers. It looks more like Climbing Milkweed Vine (Funastrum cynanchoides) to me.

Thanks to Kevalsha and plantladylin for answering this! Both your answers seem to apply to my photo but I have to say that it does look more like plantladylin's suggestion of Funastrum cynanchoides to me. Thank you again for your help. Thank You!

It looks like a vine which is why I thought Funastrum cynanchoides. Asclepias cordifolia only grows to about 3 feet in height and does have purple blooms.

Yes--you're right--it is definitely a vine.
