I have had "Wall Of Fire" for a few years now and it is a good performer here especially when allowed to get to clump size. The watermark can have a few variations as far as how pronounced it is, but overall a really nice flower that reaches its specs in my garden

A radiant reddish rose that performs well with good bud count. Blooms can have some usually minor splotches. Large flower, though may not always be 7.5 inches. A desirable plant that merits widespread distribution, at least in the North. I agree that it improves with clump strength.

Mine is more of a red coral than a pink rose. It multiplies slowly here. The bud count has not impressed me in TN.

I've only had Wall of Fire since 2019. I have to say that has taken some time to settle into my garden. The first two years it bloomed I was underwhelmed. It didn't come anywhere near any of the registration stats. Last year (2021) we had a very soggy summer and WOF looked amazing! The flowers were much larger and the scapes were taller. Maybe it was due to all the cloudy days but the color seemed so much more saturated than I remembered. I now saw why people liked it so much.

It's still a bit early to say much about how it compares to the registration. But I can say that so far it blooms mid-late for me and not midseason.

Planted Wall of Fire in May of 2022. No flowers this summer but by October it was up to five fans.

2023 update…WOF bloomed from June 29- July 13. I caught 6 blooms, there could have been more while I was gone. It ended the season with four fans, down one from a year ago. I always find the Emmerich plants are slow to establish here. The flower varies quite a lot from day to day.
