Does anyone know if it is legal to send seeds by mail to a foreign country like Indonesia?


Jesus came to seek and save the lost, and without Jesus, our souls are spiritually lost and need saving.

It can be as some plants that are welcome in some places are invasive elsewhere. Also, disease can be transmitted. I think it's legal to mail things out of the U.S. but not necessarily bring them in. I think you need a phytosanitary license.

For dry seed, it is generally legal to send out of the USA. It can't be on the CITES list, for instance. (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora)

The big deal is if the country you are sending to will accept it, or what their customs require to accept it. This differs with every country. You need to check each one individually.
