Thread OP

Hello,

I just moved into a new home this past July and the whole chain link fence is covered in grape vines. The house had been a rental for approximately 7 years before they sold it so I know the renters weren't taking care of this vine. I think the vines are beautiful and would like them to thrive, but I am not sure how to prune them back. Can anyone direct me to a video tutorial or explain to me how to care for them? I am not sure what type of grape they are either but I do not see any fruit being produced. Could that be because of the lack of pruning or is it most likely just a decorative grape vine?

Thanks for all of your help!

Hard to tell what kind of grape vines those are w/o a close up photo.
Also, yours look like they're in too much shade to produce fruit. I could be wrong, though.
