I removed pollen sacs a day before the flower opened, and was surprised with no pollen eggplant fruit still grew! Will they be seedless? How come other fruits will just drop flowers if not pollinated but eggplant grows?

Eggplants are self-pollinating plants and don't need to be pollinated.

I removed all pollen so they could not self pollinate. Yet fruit still developed Thinking
