What does the description does 4 x 4 and cristate on midribs mean? It's used to describe Floyd Cove's new introduction My Favorite Martian?

I had to go read the actual description. I think that means that it may poly with four petals and four sepals sometimes, and that it may often have extra petaloid material growing on the mid ribs.
