I have had Picasso's Intrigue for 2 years and I am very underwhelmed. My plant has seven large fans and only two of them are producing any flowers. The flowers are not very attractive, definitely not like the picture that was posted by the seller. I paid more for this plant than any plant i have ever bought. This picture is of a fresh bloom,.

Wonder why it is doing so badly in your garden? All the photos of it in the database look pretty much like the hybridizers photo. Some of my favorite plants are creations of Pierce-G. Maybe it does not like the cold weather?

I bought 2 fans of Picasso's Intrigue in 2017. It struggled for most of the years I had it, at one point I even thought it was gone. It bloomed sporadically never consistently. The last 2 years it has done very well. I will not use it for hybridizing as I don't feel it is hardy enough, but still worth having it bloom in the garden.
