It's not really the color that made me think it was a different cultivar -- it's the size and petal shape. Apple has large flowers with rounded, smooth-edged petals; mine are a little smaller, with more triangular petals that are distinctly ruffled. The fact that one stalk has 5 flowers and the second has 6 also fits more with the descriptions of Tinkerbell than Apple!

Can you measure the size of your flowers ? This is more or less constant ? Also do you have seeds after bloom , or seed pod dies a week after the flower itself ? Apple Blossom cannot have valuable seeds !!!

The flowers just started opening, so I don't know if they'll produce pods or not yet. But the stalks are just over 30 cm/12 inches tall (not including the buds at the top), and the flowers are 12-13 cm/5 inches wide -- quite a bit shorter and smaller than the descriptions of Apple Blossom!

Maybe it is 'Apple Blossom' pollinated with some other amaryllis. You can have it when you have several amaryllises grow together.
