The question mark after the "picotee" made me look up the definition. I was thinking that it meant a wavy or toothy like edge, but it appears it is merely related to the difference in color:" The only criterion is that the edge be of a contrasting color as the base of the flower;" but it can occur on fancy type edges and plain edges.
So, looking at the flower it appears the yellow would be the "picotee' edge and that would have a border the same color as the chalky eyezone or watermark? From the definition:" Picotees can have borders or margins which are lighter or darker"
I got a little lost in this part of the description: "edges down the eye color continues in a second edge."
I am the worst at flower colors and descriptions, so I am not making any suggestions, but would love to get better at it, thus all the questions. I really enjoy reading the posts on bloom descriptions. I get enjoyment out of reading some of the "flowery" descriptions on some of the hybridizers sites. After I have read them I find myself looking at the blooms, and failing to see any of the pools, or skies, or kingdoms or other mystical or ethereal items in those descriptions.
