Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Blue Bayou')

I had Blue Bayou in ground for a couple of years where it failed to bloom. Fall 2019, I dug it up split it and put a SF in a pot where it got a lot more sun. The potted split bloomed 2020 so the DF in the ground was dug up and moved to a new mole-proof bed where it will get more sun for 2021.
6" flower, had 22" potted scape on the split. Pod/Pollen fertile. Child seedlings from 2020 pollination, probably bloom 2022 Will update after 2021 bloom season

Pretty daylily! I'm glad you didn't just toss the plant Dave, but decided to give it a different location...sometimes patience is worth it.

After the "Big Freeze" of 2021 Blue Bayou bloomed 1st year in its new TX bed right in the middle of mid-season.
Need better bud count and height on this beautiful flower next year
