Love your photo Baja! I have a relatively new plant myself. I have killed it 2 times before and hoping I can keep one alive! Not sure if I overwatered or underwatered as is often the case with cacti.

Thanks guys for your kind words. I take lots of pics so occasionally I get lucky 👍
Best of luck on your latest plant hopefully it will be third time lucky . One option I have found to control watering is weight .
You can dry the plant out completely over a couple of weeks and weight it . Then water generously . Keep weighing the plant every few days and do not water until you are say within 10 to 20 grams of the original weight .it's more tedious but it does stop overwatering which is the main thing people do. If you start to get in trouble post a query with some pics on the cactus and succulents forum and we will all jump in to try to help and advise Thumbs up
