All Feros do well for me. They like Phoenix but some have to have shade in hot summer afternoons. This one is a favorite of mine.

I love the spines, fell in love with the plant when I saw it in central Mexico... looking forward to seeing it grow big in the ground some day. Good to hear this group does well in the desert heat.
