In case anyone here is really, really bored before we can get out again you can have a scroll through my most interesting 2020 seedlings with some brief comments about why they are of interest to me.

I don't expect many of these to be future introductions but will try to decide which ones to still be working with. Any thought you wish to share would be welcome (pro or con).

I guess I don't know how to make this a link so you'll have to paste it into your browser. I'm not terribly Facebook savvy and it looks like the album is in 2-3 pieces but there are a total of 50 photos.

I like everything about this one. Nice, sturdy scapes!
20-025 (Vanilla Stella x Chickens on the Porch)

Love the clean, fresh look of this one and the flat-face.
20-087 (seedling x Vanilla Stella) - first year blooming is 7 fans with 25 buds and 5 branches

This one sounds very promising and that picture of the branching is awesome!
20-152 (seedling x Vanilla Stella?) - 36 buds, 5 branches, fragrant - best scape this year

I really like the pink color and white eye on this one.
20-166 (seedling x Kingdom Bound) - 19 buds and 4 branches, which my notes say were great, but sadly no photo of those.

All in all, those are very nice seedlings, Pat!

Great Vanilla Stella offspring! It looks like it easily produces clear colors and patterns with other colored parents: something I never tried doing. But I'll be doing that shortly, mostly with evergreens, for Ecuador.

Have you noticed any rebloom? Often that's lost if the other parents are not strong rebloomers, and can reappear in the second generation.

@MikeHuben,
Welcome!
Love to see hybridizers here, you have so much knowledge we would love for you to share with us. How are things going down in Ecuador? Did you try to move the daylilies down there with you?

@MikeHuben

Welcome! I love love love your daylilies! Have a bunch and am waiting eagerly for the release of Alina

We are part of a white program shepherded by Stuart Kendig that is trying to classify whites into groups by their relative whiteness using Gentle Shepherd and Sagarmatha for comparison as the whitest to date. (there is a white daylilies group on facebook)

Green Effusion seemed remarkably white to me last summer - in your experience which ones of yours appear consistently the most white? Margo says Alina has possibilities

What are you working on in your Equador program?
