Oh...Laura from Garden Answer was able to get Caladiums for Christmas from a local grower, who was producing them as an indoor Christmas plant....I would love to try that, but have to figure out how to make some room. It would be really lovely to have the choice between Christmas cactus, poinsettia and caladium.

I got alot of the collosal bulbs last year before they sold out. They were amazing, I had 7 barrels of them and.... I cant wait to see what happens in those barrels this year.....if they come back??

Mine arrived, and they look very good! I have to wait for the weather to warm up before they can be planted outdoors here.

I always look forward to Caladiumbulbs4less sales and it's always a plus when Bill gives garden.org members a discount! My bulbs are supposed to be shipped on Monday and I'm only about 100 miles northeast, so they will arrive within a couple of days of shipment. It's warm here so I'll be planting mine right away! I already planted 30 Caladium bulbs this past week, some went in the ground and others into pots. I will likely move some from the pots to different spots in the yard once I can make up my mind where I want them. I have a habit of just sticking them here, there and everywhere. Many get stuck in container plants with other stuff on my pool deck. I have a few Caladiums from years past that are beginning to pop up already but we've had very warm temp's for awhile now. I just love all the colors and patterns in Caladium leaves! I have so many favorites that it's hard to say which one is really my true favorite.
