Can you burn them. I know from experience that those thorns will come back to haunt you.

I'm seriously considering it. My neighbor usually has a "burn pile" and I think I'll ask if I can dump them there. But worried so he doesn't get "stuck".

I had that thought too, Mary. I have a good bit of spruce trimming/brush so I may be able to make up a truckload to take to the recycling center.
