'Jumping Jack' is a semi-evergreen introduced in 2013 by Maryott.

Received this plant from Maryott's as a gift plant and it was a vigorous grower. The photo by Profesora above is likely not JUMPING JACK as it is registered as a purple with an applique and the photo shows a rounder flower with a dark eyezone. The 2nd photo shows the applique with some stippling and the plant that I grew only showed stippling once in awhile on cold mornings.

It was quite a showy flower when clumped up and a prolific bloomer. There is a clump photo in the database taken in my garden.

This will be the 3rd year form Jumping Jack for me. The 1st year the flowers tended to be splotchy. Last spring I had to move the plant, but it never missed a beat. It multiplied some, and blooms were all nice. I was pleased it did so well after being moved, no splotchiness at all and I love the flowers
