Thanks Elena! I was just telling another gardener friend that the Vates Collard Greens that I still have offered, overwintered in my greenhouse last year. They were orininally from a packet that my dad gave me that was marked 1999! 20 year old seed germinated with the help of a little peroxide! (maybe it wouldn't have even needed it)! But the MIgardener on youtube germinated 100 year old seed that way, so I had to try it!
Funny tho, I've gotten fresh packs of seed though, that never, ever germinated, like celeriac. "/
But with new seed coming in every year, the old seed just sits and gets older & older, so glad to have found this way of sharing unwanted seed!
