I was instructed of a stragety for swapping from someone who balances knowing how to play the game along with being generously kind, beautifully.... a rarity in this day & age.

And so, I am adding another offer for my selection of Deep Magenta Glomphrena (globe amaranth) for all those who were interested.

Thanks, marnie

I am adding two grab bags of daylily seeds from at least one named parent. Most were harvested in 2015. There are nine packets in each grab bag. Germination will be low, but if you use a hydrogen peroxide solution, you could get some nice blooms.

@greenishpinky I'll look to see if I have more swedish reds, also I am adding some Pueblo Chili seeds.

A little history of the Pueblo Chili - amazing peppers grown in Pueblo, CO. These are a moderately spicy pepper, traditionally roasted and used in southwest cooking for making green chili. We have a long rivalry with New Mexico over who's chilis are the best. So much so that our governors have even gotten into the 'fight' over the years. I harvested these seeds from peppers I bought at a Pueblo farm when we made our pilgrimage to get this years supply. They came from the reddest peppers I could find, to ensure some viability of the seeds. I just finished a germination test on them and got about 50%. I will include a generous amount of seeds . I recommend planting three to a cell or hole to ensure you get the number of plants you want.

As I have been creating seed packets, I have come across some older seed if anyone is interested? They are
Globe amaranth, rose mallow (tall, large magenta type) and Cape gooseberries. If no one claims them, they will probably just die since they are already nearly 5 years old.

@Greenishpinky don't count out older seeds! I just planted some amaranth seeds from 2014 and cosmos seeds from 2013 and they are sprouting! I didn't do anything special to get them to sprout either. You just never know.

Thanks Elena! I was just telling another gardener friend that the Vates Collard Greens that I still have offered, overwintered in my greenhouse last year. They were orininally from a packet that my dad gave me that was marked 1999! 20 year old seed germinated with the help of a little peroxide! (maybe it wouldn't have even needed it)! But the MIgardener on youtube germinated 100 year old seed that way, so I had to try it!

Funny tho, I've gotten fresh packs of seed though, that never, ever germinated, like celeriac. "/

But with new seed coming in every year, the old seed just sits and gets older & older, so glad to have found this way of sharing unwanted seed! Thumbs up
