Looked at Jackson & Perkins but they don't have anything right now. Can someone recommend a good place to purchase a good blue/black rose bush?

There really are not any blue or black roses. The "blue" ones are always some shade of purple or lavender; the "black" ones are at best a deep red.

Yes, but we are looking for something close to blue - lavender is OK.

High Country Roses has Midnight Blue, which I own. But it's really purple.

As far as I know, Blue for You and Rhapsody in Blue are the closest to truly blue roses that exist.

Artic Blue looks like a pale blue with a yellow reverse.

Ebb Tide is probably the darkest purple rose.
Pictures of roses have been faked even with film, but now with digital measure ten times before you use an online picture to represent rose color.

The darkest rose I can think about is Black Baccara, whose color varies greatly from bloom to bloom.

Blue roses, even the GMO Suntory Applause, are inevitably various hue of violet.
