It's that time of year, when freezing temperatures suddenly fade away into our distant memory and we start getting that vegetable garden itch. Let's talk about vegetables - how to grow them and how to design your vegetable gardens.

Here's a Sugar Pie pumpkin that grew quite well in a driveway border garden. I just tossed up a tripod for it, then trained it up. All of the flowers just grew up, and through it. Smiling

Peppers and mini tomatoes growing in 4" pots on our deck. Whistling They were extras that never made it out to the garden.

I love it! Hurray! That pumpkin sure is a happy looking vine.

Here's a corner of my "tropical" garden. Note the sugarcane on the left and a little globe basil on the bottom right. They fit right in, in my opinion.

Those tall and slender plants are such great companions for round shaped shrubs. Thumbs up

Onions don't care for my veggie patch, but they do well with my roses! Big Grin
