It opens well and is so far not spotted. Seems more like 5.5 inches here. Good height. Will be in its third year, so evaluation is still limited.

Deep Waters is in it's third (or 4th.) year here in USDA Zone 7a/b. It is reliable and should do well in Zone 6 as well since it is in a 5 gallon pot here. It's two best properties is scape height that reaches sky scaper length, and flower color clarity. It produces seed pretty well, but does make a few blind pods when the weather gets HOT. The substance is fairly heavy, so the scapes do need support when there are more than three flowers open on a scape. I will be keeping this for a long time.
