Cranberry Cove is another plant that I have had up by the house for many years. I had long ago forgotten what it was, but when the giant tree fell on the deck last May, I moved a bunch of daylilies out of the way so they wouldn't get trampled during the deck rebuild. Conveniently, the original name tag for Cranberry Cove was buried with its roots and still looking remarkably fresh 15 years later.
Anyway, Cranberry Cove is a nice Daylily. It's not really exciting but it has a pleasant form and color. It's pretty short here, not getting up to its registered 28". I'll measure it this year, maybe now that I am feeding and watering everything, I'll get better results. It is the sort of flower that plays well with others and acts as a nice foil for lots of other colors.
