Despite occasional light cleaning, numerous sticky spots return to the leaves of our bird of paradise. They do not seem to be harming the leaves. They do not appear on the same leaves each time. The plants are inside for the winter so insects are not the answer. Should I be concerned and should I continue to clean off the deposits?
