Thread OP

I picked up this houseplant because it was $2, only it was just labeled "foliage" and I cant figure out what type of plant it is. Anyone know what it is and/or how to properly care for it?

I agree, that pretty plant looks like Peperomia 'Orba Lime'

Well what do you know. I picked up one of these last year, and while I knew it was some sort of peperomia I never made further headway with the ID. Now I know! Smiling

I should have guessed by the low, low price that this is a very vigorous plant. It requires regular pruning to keep it from taking over the windowsill. It soon crowded its pot so thickly I could barely find an opening to water it. Mine was originally much bigger...this one started from a short cutting and it still needed pruning within a few months. But this also means it's one of my easiest keepers. The leaves droop a little if I forget to water it, but if that's the worst that ever happens to it then this guy has secured my loyalty, lol. Thumbs up

These are adorable! I was surprised that it is not on EA/CF website, unless their "variegated" covers multiple forms of variegation other than the one pictured.

great looking plant, I've had other similar Peperomias but this would be a new-to-me. Thumbs up

I don't think their plant lists are as thorough as they used to be. Sighing!
