I received a plant for my office (approx 1 foot high) a few of years back. It stayed small until I replanted and gave it miracle grow. Now it is touching the ceiling in my basement. Anyone know what kind of plant this is?

Is it a type of palm?

Your lovely plant is a Dracaena marginata:

Dragon Tree (Dracaena reflexa var. angustifolia)

You can take cuttings and root them for additional plants. New shoots will appear just below the cuts on the mother plant.

I've grown that Dracaena as a container plant over the years and I've actually seen it planted in gardens here in the state of Florida.
