Fred, IMO the "bagel" form makes it interesting and different.

A 3.5" UF out of Stella. It is consistently NOT round and has a better bud count and branching. One of the round sibs in the background. Thinking now if I could get it in bright yellow....

SMILING COBRA x LOMA PRIETA (FFE)

A couple of years ago I would have been very excited at seeing this first bloom, but not today. I do really like the green throat, and its parent LOMA PRIETA is a patterned daylily, so this morning I put ABSOLUTELY STELLAR pollen on it to see if I can get a nice green throat with an eye pattern on the next round...
